As a leading specialist in complex tree removals, Rose Tree Care Ltd was recently called in to remove a large tree that was causing serious concerns at a retail site. The tree was compromising a nearby concrete based flood channel and undermining the foundations of the store due to its size and proximity to surrounding structures.
Given the scale of the tree and the sensitive location, we opted to use a crane to safely dismantle and remove it. This allowed us to lift and lower sections of the tree in a controlled manner, minimising risk to the building, riverbank, and surrounding area.
Before work began, we installed aluminium trackway to create a stable base for the crane. We also produced detailed lifting plans and traffic management plans to ensure the safety of staff, customers, and members of the public in this very busy location.
All arisings were efficiently removed using a large grab lorry, while our excavator was used on site to quickly process logs and brushwood. This kept the work area clear, safe, and tidy throughout the operation.
