When our long-term clients and friends at Anglian Water required major tree trimming at one of their sewage plants, we were the only contractors with the necessary machinery and experience to carry out the works safely and efficiently.
Around the aeration tanks, trees had encroached to the point where engineers struggled to carry out inspections and maintenance. Using our excavator and Carlton compact whole-tree tracked chipper, we cleared the overhanging trees and created a wide access route where previously the area had been impassable, restoring safe, uninterrupted access for years to come.
This work required careful planning and precision, damage to the tanks was not an option. Despite the complexity and congestion of the site, we completed the clearance in a single day, with minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
We were able to deliver the machinery on our hook loader lorry in one load, enabling quick and rapid site attendance.
