Who knew that lurking behind this unassuming road junction laid an area of waste land with so much potential. The area near an industrial estate had sat empty for years and had been used as dumping ground before becoming over grown with self set willows. A new client to us had briefed us that they wanted the area clearing with the woodchip removed to facilitate a new yard and storage facility.
With undulating contaminated ground and very poor access this made for a complex clearance project. As most of the trees were quite small yet numerous we first stacked the cut material using our smaller excavator with branch handling grab and then moved the material using a larger excavator to a central location to be chipped. We then called in a good friend with whole tree chipper who was able to chip the material into walking floor lorries to remove the woodchip and recycle into biomass. Site all cleared in a few days and very satisfied new client. To learn more about our clearance projects visit Our Work.
