We were recently contracted by one of our woodland conservation charity partners to carry out an important vegetation management project. The goal was to clear a woodland buffer strip to prevent the encroachment of trees and dense vegetation onto neighbouring buildings, helping to maintain a safe and well-defined boundary between the woodland and surrounding properties.
To complete the work efficiently and safely, we used a mechanised approach. Our Carlton chipper, fed by our Bobcat excavator, allowed us to clear the area quickly and process waste on-site. This not only reduced time on site but also minimised disruption to the surrounding environment.
Where necessary, we removed hazardous or overhanging trees using rope and harness techniques, ensuring a controlled and safe dismantling process, especially in tighter or more sensitive areas.
By combining expert tree care with the right machinery, we were able to deliver a cost-effective solution that met the needs of the conservation charity while protecting nearby properties and preserving the health of the remaining woodland.
At Rose Tree Care, we provide comprehensive woodland management services for private clients, commercial businesses, and government organisations.
