Clearing the Way: Vegetation Removal for Retaining Wall Inspection
We were recently contracted by one of our civil engineering clients to carry out vegetation removal from a large retaining wall. The purpose of the job was to enable a full structural inspection of the wall and to remove trees whose root systems could potentially compromise its integrity.
To safely access the entire length and height of the wall, we deployed a variety of cherry pickers suited to different parts of the site. Safety and efficiency were top priorities throughout the operation.
Given the scale of the wall and the amount of vegetation involved, waste management was a key factor. We used our 23-tonne hook-lift lorry, excavator, and Bandit chipper to process and remove green waste swiftly and cleanly, ensuring minimal disruption to car park users and nearby businesses.
Public safety is always a priority at Rose Tree Care. All work areas were secured with high-visibility pedestrian barriers to keep the public safely separated from active work zones.
