When a residential property in Corby had six large Poplar trees at the bottom of their garden with poor access requiring removal, they struggled to find a competent contractor well versed in large tree removals to under take the work within an appropriate time frame or budget. With different companies predicting a week or more of work and disturbance to remove the trees we promised we would have the work done in under a day, and of course we did.
As a company highly experienced in using cranes for tree removals, we immediately identified an area of land where we could site equipment and organised the relevant permissions. We also specified an appropriate crane and using our experience this type of removals ,formulated a safe lifting plan and method statement to remove the trees from the garden using the crane and chipping up on the adjacent land.
We used a large chipper fed by our digger to quickly chip up and process logs and branches after each pick, keeping the landing zone safe and clear and allowing for a highly efficient removal. The waste was removed on the day using our grab and hook lift lorries.
From starting work at 9am, all works were completed by 2pm.
All the wood material from this job went back to our yard where it is recycled as bio fuel for power stations generating electricity.
