This Maple Tree in Market Harborough was starting to decline and shed branches, causing a health and safety problem in the busy town centre. Rose Tree was contracted by the council to remove the tree and organise a safe methodology to its removal.
Removal of this tree proposed a number of challenges, a neighbouring petrol station needed consulting as well as careful pedestrian and traffic management. Fortunately at Rose Tree we are experienced in working with roadside trees, high volumes of traffic and pedestrians.
After consulting with neighbouring properties we designed a traffic management plan to safely divert pedestrians and manage traffic.
Utilising our two lorries we dismantled the tree safely and removed the timber from the awkward position using our timber crane. Safely completing the works in our allotted road space time.
